Hypnotherapy
Hypnotherapy is a healing form of therapy that uses hypnosis to help individuals achieve a state of focused attention, heightened suggestibility, and deep relaxation. The subconscious mind holds our deep-seated beliefs, habits, and emotions, which often drive our conscious thoughts and behaviors. The goal of hypnotherapy is to tap into the subconscious mind to promote positive changes and facilitate healing.
During a hypnotherapy session, I will guide clients into a sleep-like state through relaxation techniques and verbal cues. In this state, individuals can access their subconscious mind more readily and are open to suggestion to change. Our internal beliefs live in our subconscious mind, therefore, when we access this state of mind, we can work consistently to change our inner deep beliefs and the behaviors that those beliefs bring about. Once in a hypnotic state, I may suggest changes in thoughts, feelings, or behaviors to help the client address various issues such as anxiety, trauma, weight loss, depression, concentration, chronic pain and more.
I did a hypnotherapy session with Heidi that was fantastic! She guided me into a relaxed state and helped me to be able to visualize ways to help me feel calm, rational and confident. I left the session feeling relaxed, positive and empowered.
