When our experiences are viewed through a Trauma Informed lens, our perspective of the past can change. We can begin to heal, feeling connected to who we are and where we are going.

I have experienced pain, shame, guilt, judgement and loneliness and I have also felt the peace and joy that comes from healing unseen wounds. I know that this journey is worth it and that you deserve to feel like your true self, full of confidence, clarity, compassion and self-love. I am here to support and guide you on your journey. Healing is possible and you are not alone.

Somatic Healing is a powerful way of processing unresolved trauma by focusing on the connection between the body and mind. Our physical symptoms, sensations and emotional expressions tell the story of our past experiences. Traumatic or stressful events can become trapped in the body when they are not fully processed, which can affect our mental, physical and emotional well-being. Reducing or relieving these symptoms is possible!

Somatic: relating to the body, especially as distinct from the mind.

When we allow ourselves to acknowledge and process emotions, we create space for growth and transformation.

Somatic experiences pertain to bodily sensations, functions and processes.

Do you find that you rely on the approval of others to feel good enough about yourself?

Codependency is a behavioral condition where an individual excessively relies on others for emotional or psychological support, often sacrificing their own needs, boundaries and comfort level.

If you can relate, I understand, as I struggled with codependency for much of my life. I often felt a lack of self-worth and self-love, believing from a young age that my value depended on others’ reactions to me. I developed people-pleasing behaviors and relied on others’ approval to soothe my inner wounds and feel good about myself.

Codependency can lead to low self-esteem, stress and anxiety, depression, unhealthy boundaries and habits, toxic relationships, physical and emotional exhaustion, sleep deprivation, illness and a complete loss of SELF.

But it is possible to heal from Codependency!
